December - Deep Freeze on Lochan N AH Achlaise
This was a very cold day. The ice was thick and I was able to walk on it - on the shallows! - so was able to get close to these boulders in the lochan. My hands and feet were sore with the cold but the beauty as the sun lit up the mountains of the Black Mount was breathtaking.
